Biography

Francesco Formisano is a veterinarian surgeon specializing in large animals, and also moonlights as a professional photographer. Born and raised in Italy, he now works in the fields of central France and travels around the world on his days off; he is always on the lookout for his next muse and artistic adventure. He finds wildlife photography to be particularly fulfilling, as it gives him the opportunity to study the weird and wonderful ways of exotic animals, and revel in the amazement that they really are quite similar to the animals we surround ourselves with everyday.
