Unframed pieces will ship via Canada Post Ground. You will be notified via email with a tracking number when your piece ships.

CUSTOM FRAMING INFORMATION

Framing Details

Citizen Atelier offers the highest quality custom framing to perfectly complement your art. Each framed piece arrives carefully packaged at your door, and ready to hang!

Framing is available for all orders within the Continental USA and Canada. We've selected beautiful hardwood frame mouldings in black and white with a matte finish. The pieces feature an acrylic plexi and protective paperback finish.

Frames add approximately on average 3” to both the width and height of the piece. The width of the frame is carefully selected to match and balance the size of the print.

Frames do not have a mat. To get a quote for frames with a mat, contact info@citizenatelier.com.

Shipping time for Framed Prints

Canada + Continental USA: Please allow an additional 10 business days for production of framed pieces and 2-5 business days for delivery. Framed pieces are delivered by FedEx.

You will receive a tracking number via email once your piece has shipped.

In this series, I aim to comment on the fragile quality of the photographic object, on life, beauty, and moments collectively and individually shared. By employing the tools of photography, I re-use light, allowing it to shine through the perforations. In a playful and yet, literal manner, I return the subject of the photographs back to the light, while simultaneously bringing them forward. The images are permanently altered; they are lost and reborn, hence the title, Dare alla Luce, an Italian term meaning, “to bring to the light” in reference to birth.
